Tanish Gupta

Tanish joined the Advance Maryland team in February 2023 as an intern, helping out with bill tracking, compiling information, writing reports, tracking media and more. In high school, he was the Student Member for the Board of Education of Washington County, introduced a student member voting rights bill with Delegate Luedtke, paged in the General Assembly, and interned with the Maryland State Bar Association. He is also a class intern at the Center of Politics, editing Sabato’s Crystal Ball. Tanish is a student at the University of Virginia, pursuing a B.S. in Commerce and minor in Government.
